we are

Looper Lids was founded by two professional golf caddies who became friends while spending their winter months down in Florida. Mike grew up a couple hours West of Nashville in Camden, Tennessee and has a background in design and perfecting processes from years of helping his dad with his home screen printing business, being promoted to a Supervisor at Dana Incorporated at 23 years old and his time learning the trade at TBG Merch.

Josh grew up in the Traverse City area and claimed the Kingsley Club as his second home from the ages of 17-30. He begrudgingly claims he has spent more time reading greens than books (probably not close) and is a jack of all trades.

Michael’s home course was closed for the summer of 2021 and he decided he’d drive another 10 hours north and spend that summer at the Kingsley Club with Josh. Michael fell in love with Northern Michigan and decided he would call that home.

Fast forward a few years and each of our boys ended their caddie careers to pursue more “grown up” jobs. They each found success but dreamt of something of their own. Right around the 4th of July 2024, the entire country celebrated as these lifelong loopers decided they wanted to go for it and started Looper Lids.

These two made a commitment that they are going to do things the “right” way. As ambiguous as that sounds, they simply want to run this business with the best interest of their customers, their community and their families. 

And for the record, any customer is allowed to challenge us to a 2v2 golf match. If you manage to beat us in a 9 hole match, we will give you 10% off your next order.
